paragraph story
She had few things in her purse when she got shot in the middle of the street. A phone, a charger, her wallet, they keys to her mother's house, and a book. The asphalt felt hard when she collapsed and fell over her face. She was crossing the street when the bullet went through her chest. It felt like her body was made of paper, so thin and soft she couldn't barely sense what happened. People started to gather around and the heat was intense, her vision was blurry. As she started to black out, more people came, they were all looking at her, confused with the smile on her face. She felt strange when someone moved her body so that she could stay with her face up. Now her back was burning on the ground and she started to feel numb. She finally could feel it. The blood was covering the area around her, a thick and crimson liquid. She closed her eyes once more and she thought about that time when her mom took her to the beach when she was seven. Her eyes had not opened ever since.
