darkness

When you turn of the lights and suddenly you can't see anything, that's when you're seeing yourself without any mediation and extension or mask. You just become one with the moment, and existence is truly magnificent. Once you start seeing the light, then you become aware of what will be and what you have done, and then it's gone.

But what is amazing is that the darkness blinds you for all the worries of the whole world and makes you go further, observing everything which is important and urgent. Those things are nothing but living, and this is golden.

The darkness also means the lack of stimulation, and that is such a bliss in a world full of distractions and noise. Not seeing makes you able to confront your own mind and all of the thoughts you thought were hidden deep down.

The light comes and then once again you're trying to connect with something. That's why lots of people struggle to sleep. Maybe, because they find a hard time on embracing the darkness, accepting all the odds and allowing themselves to pursue the emptiness. We're living times in which we don't have permission to truly see, we're suggested to do something else, we always have something to do.

For now, I wish I could be embedded in darkness, drowning in every drop of blackness, surrounded by no sound and light and no stimulus. I wish I couldn't react anymore, just be. Flowing away in an eternal séance of the night.

Believe it or not, this would be my salvation.
